Research papers from EMPIRE in 2021
The EMPIRE registry contributed with two articles to overall knowledge on IPF in 2021. Both of them are available in open access mode.
A study by M. Doubková and team of Czech pulmonologists and geneticists searched for connections between patients’ genetics and results of antifibrotic therapy. A paper by A Kolonics-Farkas et al. describes differences between EMPIRE countries in terms of patients’ baseline characteristics and access to treatment. Check also full list of EMPIRE publications.
