The EMPIRE project presented at the annual ERS Congress
More than 20 thousand of experts in the field of respiratory diseases met in Madrid from 28 September to 2 October 2019. Two posters based on EMPIRE data were presented at the congress.
The posters were “Long-term overall survival and progression-free survival in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis treated by pirfenidon or nintedanib or their switch. Real world data from the EMPIRE registry” (lead author M. Vašáková) and “Differences between ANCA positive and negative lung fibrosis cases without vasculitis” (lead author N. Mogulkoc).
The 10th meeting of the EMPIRE Steering Committee took place during the congress. Big thank you to all SC members for their valuable proposals for further project progress and also to all investigators for data collection.
